The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV features increased power, longer range, and faster charging. It includes a new 11.3-inch touchscreen with Google services, but no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

General Motors has unveiled the updated 2027 model year Chevrolet Bolt. The electric vehicle features a refined powertrain with increased power, an improved range, and reduced charging times.

A key change is the new multimedia system. The Bolt uses an 11.3-inch touchscreen similar to the one in the third-generation Chevrolet Colorado pickup. However, the integration differs: in the Bolt, the display is built into the dashboard, while in the Colorado it stands as a separate unit.

The system supports built-in Google services, including navigation, voice control, and apps. Notably, the model lacks support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as GM is focusing on its own ecosystem. Physical climate controls are retained, but their layout varies from the pickup's. Production of the model is established at GM's Kansas plant.

The updated Bolt expands the lineup of city-focused electric cars, offering enhanced performance and a redesigned interior that emphasizes digital technology.
