The EMC 212 SUV now comes with a new diesel version, joining the existing gasoline model in the Italian market. Pricing starts from €44,900.

Under the hood, a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine delivers 166 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is rated at 8.8 liters per 100 kilometers.

This model retains classic off-road architecture as standard, featuring a ladder frame, selectable four-wheel drive, a low-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. Approach and departure angles are 40 and 36 degrees respectively, with a maximum towing capacity of 2 tons.

Externally, the vehicle sports a utilitarian look with retro design cues. Standard equipment includes 17-inch wheels with off-road tires and features to improve visibility on challenging terrain. Inside, the cabin gets eco-leather upholstery and a 12.3-inch multimedia display with Bluetooth, USB, wireless charging, and smartphone integration.

Safety and driver assistance systems include a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, cruise control, stability control, and off-road aids like hill descent and hill start assist. Drive modes cover Snow, Sand, Rock, and Mud settings. Overall, with these specifications and features, the model positions itself as a top-tier off-roader for 2026, built for demanding conditions.
