Tesla has opened orders for the seven-seat version of the Model Y in the UK. The starting price is £54,490 (€62,663), which is £2,500 more than the standard five-seat model. Initial deliveries are scheduled for May.
The third-row seats are positioned in the boot and consist of two individual seats with cupholders, USB-C ports, and synthetic leather upholstery. Access is via folding second-row seats. However, Isofix child seat anchors are not available on the third row.
At launch, the model is offered only in the Long Range all-wheel-drive version. Its dual electric motors deliver a combined 370 horsepower, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.6 seconds. The range reaches 372 miles (approximately 599 km). Behind the third row, the boot space is 381 liters, with an additional front trunk offering 116 liters. With the rear seats folded, the total expands to 778 liters.
