The next generation of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups, set for 2027, will feature a panoramic roof. Spy photos of prototypes confirm this detail, showing large glass panels on the vehicles.

According to preliminary information, this new option will be available on high-end and off-road versions: the Silverado ZR2 and High Country, as well as the Sierra AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Denali Ultimate. However, it remains unclear whether the panoramic roof will replace the standard sunroof or be offered alongside it.

This panoramic roof is part of a broader update for these models. The refresh is expected to include an upgraded engine lineup, with revisions to the 2.7-liter turbocharged engine, the 3.0-liter Duramax diesel, and a new 6.6-liter gasoline V8. Interior changes are also planned, featuring updated trim materials, a redesigned cabin layout, and improved multimedia systems. The debut of these new GM vehicles for the 2026 model year is anticipated before the end of this year.
