Volvo EX30 Cargo is a new commercial electric crossover with 1,000 liters cargo space, targeting fleet operators and corporate clients.

Volvo has unveiled the EX30 Cargo, a new commercial version of its compact electric crossover. Developed by the brand's UK division, this model targets corporate clients and fleet operators.

The key difference from the standard version is the removal of the rear seats. In their place is a cargo area with a flat floor offering up to 1,000 liters of space. Maximum payload capacity is 390 kg. For easier loading, the rear doors open wider, and the interior includes tie-down points to secure cargo.

The EX30 Cargo is available in three trim levels and with several powertrain options, ranging from 148 to 423 horsepower. The top-spec version, featuring dual electric motors, retains the performance of the passenger model, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.

This model will be sold exclusively through Volvo's corporate sales channels and will not be available in regular dealerships. This approach highlights the growing interest in vehicles for small businesses, where compact size, practicality, and modern technology are key considerations.
