Ford Australia has unveiled a refreshed F-Series lineup, headlined by the 2025 Ford F-150 Platinum. The new range-topper leans into comfort and premium amenities aimed squarely at long-distance driving.
The Platinum brings 20-inch wheels, power-deployable side steps, metallic accents, and a multi-position bed cover. Inside, there are massaging seats with a dedicated sleep mode and an Onyx Black finish. The package feels purpose-built to take the edge off long days behind the wheel.
Updates reach beyond the flagship as well: XLT and Lariat trims gain new wheels, a Bang & Olufsen audio system, and upgraded displays. It’s a sensible spread of improvements that should make the entire lineup more appealing.
Every version is powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 rated at 400 hp, paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Maximum braked towing is listed at 4500 kg. Production is set at RMA Automotive in Victoria, with deliveries scheduled to begin early next year. On paper, the Platinum specification positions the new F-150 among the most comfort-focused pickups on the market.
