How Bugatti's Chiron, Divo, and Centodieci define modern hypercar strategy
Explore Bugatti's Chiron Super Sport 300+, Divo, and Centodieci models that set the brand's direction with engineering records, aerodynamics, and exclusivity.
Bugatti has revealed the three hypercars that played a pivotal role in shaping the brand's current strategy. The Chiron Super Sport 300+, Divo, and Centodieci models have set the company's direction for the coming years.
The Chiron Super Sport 300+ stands as a symbol of Bugatti's engineering excellence. In 2019, test driver Andy Wallace pushed the car to 304.77 mph (approximately 490 km/h), making it the first production vehicle to break the 300 mph barrier. This record cemented the brand's technological leadership in the hypercar world.
The Bugatti Divo showcased another facet of the brand's evolution. This model was developed with a focus on handling and aerodynamics rather than top speed. It features a reworked chassis and a body designed for enhanced downforce. All 40 units produced were quickly sold.
The third key model is the Bugatti Centodieci. This hypercar pays homage to the legendary EB110 from the 1990s. Its design reinterprets the original's style while incorporating modern technical components, including the W16 engine.
Bugatti produced only 10 units of the Centodieci, highlighting the brand's new strategy of creating ultra-limited, collectible hypercars.
Together, these three models define Bugatti's modern approach: blending engineering records, bespoke design, and maximum exclusivity. Today, rarity and uniqueness have become the primary values for the brand's clientele.
