Dongfeng launches the Lingzhi PLUS minivan on March 18, priced from 89,900 yuan. Features include a 2.0L engine, spacious interior, and safety tech like LDW and BSM.

Chinese automaker Dongfeng is set to unveil the updated Lingzhi PLUS minivan on March 18, with a starting price of 89,900 yuan, roughly equivalent to $12,000. This model is positioned as an affordable business minivan, featuring a spacious interior and practical design.

Measuring 5,170 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,935 mm in height, the Lingzhi PLUS sits on a 3,198 mm wheelbase. It offers seating for seven or nine passengers, with rear seats that fold in a 5/5 split to reconfigure the space for cargo or passenger needs. For convenience, the vehicle comes with two sliding side doors.

Up front, the design incorporates the signature Dragon Roar grille, which is linked to the headlights via chrome accents. A key technical update is the introduction of a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, producing 110 kW (about 150 hp) and a peak torque of 204 Nm. A CNG dual-fuel version will also be available. Standard safety features include lane departure warning (LDW) and blind spot monitoring (BSM).

Chinese manufacturers are continuing to push forward in the affordable minivan segment. These models are in high demand for commercial transport and family use, so the combination of a roomy cabin, low price, and fuel-efficient engines could make the Lingzhi PLUS a standout offering in its class.
