Cadillac Vistiq serves as official VIP vehicle for 2026 Chinese Grand Prix

Cadillac has announced that its new electric crossover, the Vistiq, will serve as the official VIP vehicle for the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix in Formula 1. The championship event is scheduled from March 12 to 15 at the Shanghai International Circuit, marking the second race of the season.

During the event, a fleet of Cadillac vehicles, led by the Vistiq, will be used to transport teams, drivers, and guests. The electric crossover will serve as the primary mode of transport for international guests, business representatives, celebrities, and fans.

According to Cadillac China Vice President Will Stacey, the Vistiq showcases the brand's direction by blending electric technology with modern luxury. The model's involvement in one of the biggest motorsport events is also expected to strengthen the brand's position in the Chinese market.

Cadillac views the Chinese Grand Prix as part of its marketing strategy and a platform to promote the new model. The company notes that participation in Formula 1 coincides with the debut of the Cadillac F1 Team and should draw attention to the new electric crossover.

The Cadillac Vistiq is already available in the Chinese market, with its public debut set to occur during the race weekend. At the same time, the company has opened pre-orders for the model through its official dealer network, website, and mobile app. This addition also expands the list of new 2026 vehicles that the manufacturer plans to actively promote in the largest premium car market.
