The Volkswagen Group has announced a major expansion of its model lineup. In 2026, the company plans to launch over 20 new models, including electric vehicles, hybrid versions, and several new crossovers.

A key element of this strategy is the MEB Plus platform, which will underpin most future electric models. Among the expected newcomers is the compact ID. Polo, an electric version of one of the brand's most famous models, targeting the urban segment.

The lineup will also feature the compact ID. Cross crossover, designed to compete with urban SUVs. In the family car segment, the electric Skoda Epiq is anticipated, while the compact Cupra Raval, measuring just over four meters in length, will offer a sporty urban character.

Volkswagen is placing particular emphasis on the crossover segment. The new T-Roc will receive a hybrid powertrain, and the electric ID. Tiguan will become one of the key models in the midsize segment. For family trips, the seven-seat electric SUV Skoda Peaq is planned.

Updates will also affect the group's premium brands. Audi is preparing new generations of the Q7 and Q9, and Porsche is working on a fully electric version of the Cayenne. Electrification will also extend to the sports models Cayman and Boxster.
