Peugeot unveils the Polygon Concept, a hatch previewing the 2027 Peugeot 208 with steer-by-wire, retro-inspired LEDs, and a debut in Fortnite's Polygon City.

Peugeot has unveiled the Polygon concept, signaling where the brand’s design is headed next. According to the company, the prototype captures the styling cues set to shape the next-generation Peugeot 208, planned for 2027.

Visually, the Polygon Concept is a compact hatchback with a rounded nose and an angular tail. Its slim, flat LED headlights echo the classic 405, while the vertical light elements beneath continue the brand’s familiar cat-whisker motif. The blend of soft curves and crisp edges feels deliberate rather than purely nostalgic.

Inside, the cabin leans futuristic and adopts steer-by-wire, replacing a mechanical link between the steering wheel and the wheels with electronic control—a setup 32CARS.RU highlighted earlier. The choice underlines the tech-forward brief of the study.

Beyond the physical show car, the concept also appears in Polygon City, a virtual world built on Fortnite. Observers suggest the next 208 could be one of 2027’s standouts, combining style, technology, and the compact footprint emblematic of the brand. Judging by this concept, the formula reads well.
