Audi expands Q3 lineup with 193-hp 2.0 TDI quattro diesel, offering 400 Nm torque, 7.5s 0-100 km/h, and 6.3-6.8 L/100km fuel economy. Available in summer.
Audi has expanded the lineup of the new Q3 and Q3 Sportback with a powerful diesel version, the 2.0 TDI quattro. Nearly a year after sales began, the range now includes an option aimed at drivers who log many miles and appreciate a blend of torque and handling.
The 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine delivers 193 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. It pairs with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and is available exclusively with quattro all-wheel drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 220 km/h.

Compared to the 150-horsepower version, the performance boost is noticeable: the previous Q3 TDI needed 9.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h and had a lower top speed. Fuel consumption in the WLTP cycle is 6.3–6.8 L/100 km, which is about 0.8 liters higher than the less powerful variant.
The introduction of the 193-horsepower TDI with all-wheel drive fills a gap in the lineup and strengthens the Q3's position in the premium compact SUV segment. Sales are expected to start in summer, with a price premium of around 5,000 euros over the 150-horsepower version, making the newcomer targeted at a more demanding audience.
