Porsche is preparing an electric version of the Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT, set to debut in mid-2027. A prototype of the model was spotted during winter testing. This new flagship SUV will feature a fully electric powertrain.

The Turbo GT version is expected to be equipped with two electric motors. Combined power will exceed 857 horsepower in continuous mode and more than 1,156 horsepower in peak mode with the Launch Control function activated. According to a source, the final output could surpass 1,200 horsepower.

The prototype retains active aerodynamic elements, including vertical flaps for the system that works with Launch Control, and an adjustable rear spoiler. Perforated brake discs are also visible on both axles.

The interior will mirror the architecture of the new Cayenne with three digital displays. The front seats will get enhanced lateral support, and the rear row will likely be a two-seater configuration without a central seat.

Range is expected to be at least 600 kilometers. This model will serve as a response to the electric Mercedes-AMG GT SUV, which is slated to appear earlier and is claimed to have around 1,400 horsepower.
