Chevrolet adds artist postcard to 2027 Bolt, celebrating Fairfax plant

Chevrolet 2027 Bolt includes postcard with original art from Fairfax plant chevrolet.com

Chevrolet includes a postcard with original illustration by Marianna Caskone in every 2027 Bolt, highlighting the GM Fairfax plant's history and connection to the vehicle.

Chevrolet will include an unusual element with every new 2027 Bolt: a postcard featuring an original illustration. The artwork was created by Kansas City-based artist Marianna Caskone and celebrates the GM Fairfax plant in Kansas where the model is assembled.

The project originated with a mural painted on the factory grounds. Caskone developed the sketch after touring the facility, using VR goggles to transfer the design because the space was occupied by production equipment. Later, a separate piece was created based on the mural and printed in postcard format.

The image depicts vehicles at various assembly stages with the Kansas City skyline in the background. Signatures from plant management appear on the reverse side. According to plant director Michael Youngs, this approach emphasizes the model's connection to the site's history and its workforce.

The Fairfax plant opened during World War II and has produced both automobiles and military equipment over the years. It currently assembles the Bolt EV, with plans to launch the Equinox and Equinox EV in the future. Bolt production will continue through 2027.
