Electric classic Mini conversion by Everrati: preserving style, boosting performance

Everrati unveils electric classic Mini conversion with modern performance everrati.com

Everrati reveals a fully electric conversion of the classic Mini, blending original aesthetics with modern EV technology for dynamic, silent driving. Customizable options available.

British company Everrati, which specializes in electric conversions of classic cars, has unveiled a fully electric version of the classic Mini. Visually, the car is almost indistinguishable from later versions of the original, but the technical underpinnings have been completely transformed.

Each project begins with a donor vehicle. The gasoline engine, transmission, and fuel tank are removed. Following a full body restoration, a compact electric motor and battery pack are installed within the standard architecture. This setup delivers more dynamic acceleration and silent operation compared to the original version.

Exact specifications have not yet been revealed. Everrati has previously completed electric projects based on the Porsche 911, the Mercedes-Benz SL W113 generation, and the Ford GT. This track record suggests we can expect improvements in both performance and range over the gasoline-powered Mini. In practice, such a project serves as a prime example of modern tuning that preserves a classic aesthetic.

The company does not offer a fixed specification. Each order is customized individually, with options to upgrade the suspension, wheels, heating, and multimedia systems. Buyers can also choose from various interior finishes, including Scottish Bridge of Weir leather.

Two demonstration variants have been presented: the Clubhouse with a dark, classic trim and the Serenity in a lighter, more contemporary style. The project's cost remains undisclosed, though the company emphasizes the price will not be comparable to that of a standard Mini.
