2026 Bronco Sport Sasquatch package updates and features
Ford has adjusted the Sasquatch off-road package for the 2026 Bronco Sport, affecting Outer Banks and Badlands trims with removed features and new options.
Ford has adjusted the Sasquatch off-road package for the 2026 Bronco Sport, affecting the Outer Banks and Badlands trims. Some previously standard features have been removed or are now offered separately. In the Sasquatch Outer Banks version, the fender mounts and interior grab handles are no longer included.
The Badlands trim additionally loses its front splash guard with integrated tow hooks. These items used to come with the package, but the equipment logic has shifted. Fender mounts remain available, but only as a $495 standalone option for Sasquatch-equipped vehicles. For Badlands models, the protective element with integrated hooks now costs an extra $395.
Interior grab handles have been completely eliminated from the 2026 lineup. The Sasquatch package itself is priced at $3,860 for Outer Banks and $2,495 for Badlands. It includes upgraded HOSS 2.0 or HOSS 3.0 suspensions (depending on the version), an all-wheel-drive system with advanced calibration, steel underbody protection, 235/65 R17 all-terrain tires, auxiliary switches, and a range of off-road functional enhancements.
The Badlands version further gains Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, enhanced cooling, and a unique interior with contrasting stitching.
Changes also extend to the Black Diamond package for the base Big Bend trim, where some equipment has similarly been removed. Ford appears to be aiming for a more flexible package structure and a lower base price, but the outcome for buyers might be less advantageous.
Overall, the Sasquatch package remains one of the most compelling off-road offerings in the compact SUV class, though configuring it now requires closer attention.
