Peugeot Rifter updated with new engines and driver monitoring
Peugeot Rifter adds petrol and diesel engines, driver fatigue warning, and bidirectional charging. Explore options for electric and traditional versions.
Peugeot has expanded the compact Rifter lineup with new engine options and additional equipment. The model is now available not only as a fully electric version but also with new petrol and diesel engines aimed at customers who frequently cover long distances.
For the updated model year, the Allure trim now includes a driver fatigue warning system with the Driver Monitoring camera. This feature will become mandatory starting July 1, 2026.
The electric E-Rifter now comes standard with an 11 kW onboard charger that supports bidirectional charging and is prepared for Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, which requires a separate adapter. The electric version starts at 38,220 euros. Its electric motor delivers 100 kW (136 hp), with a WLTP range of up to 339 km.
The options list has also been expanded: available features include heated front seats, the i-Connect Advanced multimedia system, and steering wheel paddle shifters depending on the engine version. Inside, buyers can choose three separate second-row seats for greater flexibility.
With this variety of powertrains and configurations, the Rifter maintains its position as a practical vehicle for small businesses, offering a choice between electric and traditional versions within a single model.
