Discover the 2026 Dacia C-Neo estate: a practical, hybrid-powered rival to the Skoda Octavia, built on CMF-B with prices from around £20,000 and big value.

Dacia is set to broaden its range with the C-Neo, a new estate positioned against the Skoda Octavia and scheduled to arrive in 2026. Built on the CMF-B platform, it sticks to the brand’s core idea: maximum usability at a minimal price.

Measuring roughly 4.6 meters in length, the wagon will pair a raised ride height with protective plastic cladding in a crossover vein. There’s a touch of Bigster influence in the styling, yet the brief is clearly about day-to-day usefulness rather than prestige: a roomy cabin, generous ground clearance, and hybrid powertrains rated between 128 and 153 hp.

According to Dacia head Katrin Adt, the success of the Bigster encouraged the company to push further into the C-segment. At the same time, the new estate is intended to carve out its own niche, aimed at buyers who don’t want an SUV but still value comfort and efficiency.

The expected starting price is around £20,000—well under rivals such as the Skoda Octavia (£29,000) and Seat Leon (£27,000). True to form, the C-Neo embraces “smart minimalism,” trimming nonessential features to keep it accessible.

In a market dominated by SUVs, Dacia is bringing estates back, making a simple case that practicality and a keen price can still set the agenda. The formula looks straightforward—and all the more appealing for it.
