The 2026 GWM Haval Jolion cuts fuel use: hybrids 4.8 L/100 km, petrol 6.5–6.7. Updates aid NVES compliance and hit Australian showrooms soon across the range.

All versions of the compact crossover GWM Haval Jolion for the 2026 model year now consume less fuel than before in Australia. It’s a pragmatic update that nudges efficiency in the right direction.

Hybrid variants benefit from revisions that cut combined fuel use from 5.1 to 4.8 L/100 km, according to GWM.

Meanwhile, the standard petrol lineup gains engine stop-start, a subframe aimed at cleaner aerodynamics, and new tires. The combined figure for Haval Jolion Premium and Lux is now 6.7 L/100 km (down from 8.1), while the Jolion Vanta is rated at 6.5 L/100 km (down from 7.5). In everyday driving, that’s the sort of change owners actually notice at the pump.

The across-the-board reductions will help GWM meet Australia’s New Vehicle Efficiency Standard (NVES), introduced earlier this year, which requires carmakers to hit annual emissions targets.

The refreshed 2026 GWM Haval Jolion is expected to arrive in Australian showrooms in the coming weeks.
