Bentley Ombre by Mulliner brings handcrafted gradient paint to Continental GT Speed, GTC Speed and Flying Spur
Discover Bentley's Ombre by Mulliner: a handcrafted two-tone gradient paint takes 60 hours, costs $68,000, and adorns GT Speed, GTC Speed, and Flying Spur.
Bentley has once again shown that a car can be a piece of art. The new Ombre by Mulliner collection brings three models—Continental GT Speed, GTC Speed, and Flying Spur—each finished with a hand-crafted, two-tone gradient across the bodywork.
The application takes around 60 hours and involves two specialists who layer and blend shades to achieve a flawless transition over the entire car—from the doors to the roof. The finish costs $68,000 per vehicle. The seamless fade is the kind of detail you only notice when it’s executed perfectly.

Each specification draws on California’s landscapes. The Continental GTC Speed pairs Sunburst Gold with Orange Flame, evoking Monument Valley sunsets. The GT Speed shifts between Topaz and Windsor Blue, recalling the coastal waters of Monterey. The Flying Spur blends Tungsten and Onyx to mirror Southern California’s night sky.
Inside, the palette continues: leather, stitching, and trim echo the exterior tones. For the GTC convertible, it marks the first time the brand has used a gradient paint finish on the body—an effect that comes across as curated rather than showy.
Jason Cammisa of Bentley Rancho Mirage said the collection is intended to show customers that individuality can be expressed not only through power but also through an artistic approach. The finish can now be ordered at Bentley dealerships worldwide—at a price six times higher than Porsche’s standard Paint to Sample program. It’s a niche indulgence that turns customization into craftsmanship.
