The powertrain consists of two electric motors, with 288 kW at the front and 450 kW at the rear, totaling 738 kW. Suzhou Inovance United Power System and Xiaomi Auto Technology handle the production of the drive systems. The electric crossover is equipped with a three-component lithium-ion battery, with cells supplied by Jiangsu Times New Energy Technology and battery pack assembly by Zhongzhou Times New Energy. Different-sized wheels front and rear—265/40 R21 and 295/35 R21—emphasize the model's sporty orientation.

Externally, the YU7 GT combines an aerodynamic profile, frameless mirrors, retractable door handles, and an advanced air duct system. At the rear, it features a pronounced ducktail spoiler, signature ring-shaped taillights, and a large diffuser. Indirect signs suggest the car may come with a carbon-ceramic brake system.

The official debut of the Xiaomi YU7 GT is expected in the first half of 2026, with an estimated price on the Chinese market of 450,000 to 500,000 yuan (about $65,000 to $72,000). This pricing underscores its positioning as the brand's flagship sporty electric crossover.
