Renault launches updated Captur Eco-G with 120hp LPG engine in Spain, offering 1400km range, 10% lower CO2 emissions, and no price increase from January 2026.
Renault has launched the updated Renault Captur Eco-G with 120 horsepower in the Spanish market. This LPG version replaces the previous Eco-G 100 model and offers improved specifications without a price increase, according to the manufacturer. In Spain, the new model is available in the Evolution trim starting at €22,900 from January 2026, excluding discounts and promotions.
The Captur Eco-G features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder 1.2 TCe engine, adapted to run on both petrol and liquefied petroleum gas. Power output has increased to 120 horsepower, up by 20, while torque now reaches 200 Nm, an increase of 30. It comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. The claimed 0–100 km/h acceleration time is 12 seconds. Fuel consumption is rated at 7.2 L/100 km on gas and 5.9 L/100 km on petrol. Renault also states that CO2 emissions when running on LPG are 10% lower compared to an equivalent petrol engine.
Range has seen a key improvement: the LPG tank capacity has been increased by 25%, from 40 to 50 liters. The tank is positioned under the boot floor, while the petrol tank remains at 48 liters. The combined driving range is claimed to be up to 1,400 km.
In 2026, other versions of the Captur also received updates, including new mirrors, an interior camera for driver attention monitoring, enhanced parking cameras, and new driving mode settings.
