Chery expands globally with iCAUR brand, launching the V27 hybrid SUV in Dubai. Features 150+ km electric range, 1,000+ km total mileage, and lifestyle-focused design.

Chery is expanding its global footprint with the launch of a new brand called iCAUR. The first model will be the large hybrid SUV V27, which debuts on February 8 in Dubai, marking the brand's official entry into the Middle East market. Targeting the mid-to-large segment, the V27 combines extended electric range with impressive overall mileage thanks to its EREV system.

The V27's dimensions emphasize its stature: it measures over five meters in length with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Its boxy design features circular headlights, while the interior boasts a dual panoramic roof and a spacious five-seat layout. With 39 ports for accessory connections—a rarity in this segment—the model clearly aims at lifestyle-oriented buyers.

Technically, the V27 can travel over 150 km on electric power alone and more than 1,000 km in mixed driving cycles. Ahead of its global launch, the model underwent extensive validation: over a thousand test vehicles covered more than a million kilometers across various climates and road types.

The Dubai debut will kick off an international tour, including appearances at auto shows in Asia and Europe. Throughout 2026, iCAUR plans to expand the V27's sales reach, though specific markets have not yet been disclosed.
