Renault Duster 2026 launched in India with updated platform and tech
Discover the third-gen Renault Duster for India with a new CMF-B platform, modern design, and advanced features like a 10-inch infotainment system and 360-degree camera.
The wait is over: the French brand has unveiled the third-generation Renault Duster specifically for India. The company is skipping the second generation and launching the model directly with a new design, improved equipment, and modern architecture. Official photos and specifications will be revealed later today, but key parameters have already been announced.
Differences in the Indian Duster 2026
Built on the CMF-B platform, the model will visually differ from its international counterpart while retaining the recognizable upright stance, pronounced wheel arches, rugged plastic cladding, and distinctive roofline. The crossover, measuring about 4.3 meters in length, will feature LED headlights with Y-shaped elements, new bumpers, enlarged wheel arches, and updated alloy wheels.

The rear features C-shaped taillights and a small spoiler. This approach allows Renault to emphasize continuity while giving the SUV a more contemporary visual identity.
Interior
Official images will appear later, but the interior is expected to align closely with the global version: an updated dashboard architecture, a new center console, and revised air vents. Expected equipment includes a ten-inch infotainment system with wireless smartphone integration, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and a suite of driver assistance systems. For the first time, the Duster is approaching the segment leaders in terms of technology.
Engine Lineup
According to preliminary data, the Duster 2026 for India will be offered exclusively with gasoline engines. The main unit will be a 1.3-liter HR13 engine producing 156 horsepower, and a more affordable option will also be available—a reworked one-liter turbo engine familiar from the Kiger. Both engines will be paired with manual and automatic transmissions, allowing the model to cater to different buyer preferences.
