Renault's 2026 electric vehicle lineup for Spain
Discover Renault's 2026 EV launch schedule in Spain, including the Twingo, Megane, Trafic E-Tech, and R5 Turbo 3E, with details on pricing and features.
Renault has unveiled its schedule for launching its key 2026 models in the Spanish market. With the exception of the new-generation Clio, all these models are electric: the compact Twingo, the updated Megane, the innovative Trafic E-Tech van platform, and the exclusive sporty R5 Turbo 3E.
New Twingo: sales start in May
The Twingo will be the first to arrive, with a starting price already announced at €18,330. This positions it as one of the most affordable electric vehicles available, aimed at competing with Chinese models.
It uses an 82 hp motor and a 27.5 kWh LFP battery, delivering a WLTP range of up to 263 km. Fast charging is available as an optional extra, boosting power to 50 kW.
Updated Megane: debut before autumn
October will see a comprehensive refresh of the Megane. Beyond visual updates, the model is switching to a revised electric architecture featuring LFP batteries. This move is designed to reduce production costs and enhance reliability for everyday use.
Trafic E-Tech: 800-volt architecture
December brings a premium addition—the electric Trafic E-Tech. This marks Renault's first software-oriented vehicle and its first passenger/cargo electric model with an 800-volt system. Charging to 80% takes just 20 minutes. Two battery options are offered: a 60 kWh unit providing a 350 km WLTP range, and an 81 kWh version for 450 km.
R5 Turbo 3E: exclusive 555 hp model
That same month, deliveries will begin for the limited-run R5 Turbo 3E, with only 1,980 units planned. Built on the Alpine Performance platform, it features dual motors with a combined 555 hp, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.5 seconds, and supports 350 kW charging thanks to its 800-volt system.
