Mitsubishi launches Black Edition for ASX and Outlander PHEV

Mitsubishi Motors has unveiled special Black Edition versions for its ASX and Outlander PHEV crossovers. These models feature a darkened exterior design, with chrome elements replaced by black accents and black alloy wheels—18-inch for the ASX and 20-inch for the Outlander.

Despite the name, the Black Edition isn't limited to just black body colors. The Mitsubishi ASX Black Edition will be available in black with a white roof, white with a black roof, and red with a black roof. This version is offered exclusively with a hybrid powertrain.

The Outlander PHEV, which is only produced as a plug-in hybrid, can be ordered in the Black Edition not only in black but also in gray with a black roof.

No technical changes to the powertrains have been announced, meaning the update is purely cosmetic. Prices for the Black Edition have not been disclosed yet, with deliveries in Europe scheduled to begin in spring 2026.
