Subaru Impreza ranks as a top reliable car for 2026

Consumer Reports recently published its study on the most reliable cars for 2026. The results show that the Subaru Impreza, a model that hasn't been highly sought after in the market, ranks among the most dependable vehicles.

In the Consumer Reports assessment, the Impreza scored 80 out of 100 for reliability. J.D. Power gave it an even higher rating, awarding the sporty hatchback 83 out of 100 for quality and dependability.

Subaru reports that, based on data from Experian Automotive, 94% of all Imprezas sold over the past decade are still on the road today.

Reliability isn't the only thing this car has going for it. The 2026 Subaru Impreza also comes at a reasonable price, offers a spacious interior with some new features, and delivers solid performance.
