Audi Q3 e-hybrid: bigger battery, 119 km electric range and DC fast charging
Audi Q3 e-hybrid debuts with a 25.7 kWh battery, 119 km WLTP range, 50 kW DC fast charging and 272 hp. From €56,120 in Europe; SUV or Sportback. Now on sale.
Audi has unveiled the new Q3 e-hybrid in Europe. Now in its third generation, the plug-in crossover receives a major battery upgrade and a longer electric range, placing it among the standout tech-forward options in its class for 2026.
The lithium-ion battery grows to 25.7 kWh (19.7 kWh usable), extending electric-only driving to up to 119 km on the WLTP cycle—more than double the previous version’s figure. Charging is no longer limited to AC: it now supports DC fast charging at up to 50 kW, taking the battery from 10 to 80% in under 30 minutes. In practice, that mix of range and speedier top-ups should make everyday electric use feel natural rather than forced.
Total system output is rated at 272 hp and 400 Nm. The sprint to 100 km/h takes 6.8 seconds, with a top speed of 215 km/h; in electric mode, it can travel at up to 140 km/h. The performance sits comfortably on the brisk side for a plug-in crossover, without straying into overstatement.
In Europe, prices start at €56,120 for the Business trim and reach €65,750 for the range-topping Black Line. The Audi Q3 e-hybrid comes in two body styles: the classic SUV and the coupé-inspired Sportback. It’s already available to order and goes up against the BMW X1 xDrive25e and Mercedes GLA 250e.
