Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel limited edition: unique auction car
Chevrolet unveils a one-of-a-kind Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Limited Edition with exclusive paint, 1,250 hp, and charity auction at Barrett-Jackson.
Chevrolet has created a one-of-a-kind Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel Limited Edition, featuring unique paintwork, handcrafted details, and custom styling elements. This car is set to become the rarest Corvette ZR1X ever made and will be the star attraction at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction.
Unique Design and Exclusive Paint
The model's standout feature is its new Dark Satin Steel color, developed specifically for this vehicle and applied by hand at the GM Design Fabrication Shop. The body is adorned with signature Stars & Steel graphics, inspired by the American flag, which run along the front section and roof. This design sets the car apart from even the most striking limited-edition Corvettes.
Inside, the cabin features special trim elements and a unique plaque confirming its "one-of-a-kind" status. Importantly, this car is not part of the 250-unit Stars & Steel Limited Edition production run, making it far more exclusive than the official limited series.
Technical Capabilities

Technically, this version mirrors the production ZR1X, utilizing a hybrid system built around a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 LT7 engine paired with a front electric motor. Combined output reaches 1,250 horsepower. This architecture gives the supercar all-wheel drive and places it among the most powerful Corvette models in history.
Auction and Charity
The unique Corvette will go under the hammer on January 24, 2026, at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, with no reserve. All proceeds will be donated in full to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports families of fallen military personnel, veterans, wounded service members, and first responders, while also running programs to combat veteran homelessness in the United States.
The car is expected to be one of the auction's highlights. Given that the production Corvette ZR1X starts at $209,595, this unique example could sell for a figure well above that threshold. Among potential buyers, experts point to Rick Hendrick, who regularly acquires the first and rarest Corvettes.
