Updated Opel Astra offers lower prices and enhanced features for 2026
Opel has updated the Astra, lowering prices by up to 4,000 euros. Explore the facelifted hatchback with new designs, hybrid and electric options, and competitive pricing.
Opel has updated the Astra and lowered its prices. According to foreign media reports, the facelifted hatchback is now cheaper by 1,500 to 4,000 euros, depending on the version and trim, with the Edition and GS models seeing the most significant price drops.
The updates to the Astra are subtle: the front end has been redesigned, chrome elements have been reduced, and LED features have been added. The electric Astra Electric now comes with a new battery and supports V2L functionality. The plug-in hybrid has also been tweaked, offering an increased electric range and a total power output of 196 horsepower.
The starting price for the Astra with a 145-horsepower mild hybrid is now 35,999 euros. The plug-in hybrid starts at a minimum of 37,499 euros, while the electric version begins at 36,699 euros. The Astra Sports Tourer estate will cost 1,000 euros more than its hatchback counterpart.
In a market where prices are generally rising, these discounts make the Astra a standout among new cars for 2026, especially for buyers weighing hybrid and electric options.
