Tesla resumes sales of refreshed Model S and Model X with quieter cabins, new interiors, and Plaid tweaks. Deliveries start in November with free Supercharging.

Tesla has resumed sales of the refreshed Model S and Model X, which had briefly disappeared from the configurator over the summer. The latest versions bring upgrades to design, comfort, and efficiency while holding on to their strong performance.

The overhaul touches sound insulation, suspension tuning, and aerodynamics. Inside, there are new materials, improved lighting, and an updated interface. The Model S can be fitted with 19- or 21-inch wheels, while the Model X offers 20- or 22-inch options. Added insulation and active noise cancellation reduce cabin noise, a change that should make long trips feel calmer.

The sport-focused Model S Plaid picks up new bumpers, a carbon-fiber spoiler, and a revised diffuser. Handling at high speeds and powertrain efficiency have been improved—exactly the kind of fine-tuning Plaid buyers tend to notice.

Tesla said that first deliveries will begin in November. Owners are offered free Supercharger charging and premium connectivity. Taken together, these updates make the cars strong contenders among the most technologically advanced and comfortable 2026 models.
