Mercedes-Benz CLA at CES 2026: MB.DRIVE Assist Pro and DTS AutoStage
At CES 2026, the new Mercedes-Benz CLA debuts with Nvidia-backed MB.DRIVE Assist Pro for SAE Level 2 urban driving, plus DTS AutoStage video and Sony RIDEVU.
Mercedes-Benz says it will unveil the new CLA at CES 2026, which kicks off on January 6. The model debuts with MB.DRIVE, a driver-assistance suite developed together with Nvidia. The brand is leaning on an AI-centric architecture for its ADAS strategy: Nvidia is the global partner, supplying the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX computing platform, the DRIVE AV software, and AI tools that underpin this new generation of assistants.

The headline feature is MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO. According to the company, it blends navigation with vehicle control to let the car cover an urban route in SAE Level 2 mode at the push of a button—from pulling out of a parking spot to arriving at a set address. Mercedes emphasizes a cooperative-steering approach: the driver can step in at any moment without disrupting the system or triggering an abrupt shutdown. That philosophy should make the assistance feel more natural and easier to trust in everyday traffic.
CES will also serve as a stage for the CLA’s entertainment side. At Xperi’s booth, Mercedes plans to show video streaming via DTS AutoStage Video (developed by TiVo), along with Sony Pictures’ RIDEVU service offering IMAX Enhanced content and DTS:X audio. The message is clear: this compact Mercedes leans into technology, advancing driver aids and the digital cabin in parallel—an approach that neatly aligns comfort, connectivity, and day-to-day usability.
