Geely targets 250,000 car exports to Europe by 2027, driving a one-million global goal, via Geely, Lynk & Co and Zeekr with electrified models and EU sites.

Geely, China’s second-largest automaker, plans to ship around 200,000 vehicles to Western Europe in 2027 and another 50,000 to Eastern Europe, including Russia. These targets are part of a broader push to lift annual global exports to one million cars.

In 2024, Geely Group’s worldwide sales reached 3.34 million vehicles, and the company aims to climb to 5 million by 2027. Export figures include models from Geely, Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr, while Chinese-built Volvo and Polestar cars are not counted. Over the first nine months of the year, exports totaled 295,000 units—an indicator of how much headroom remains to hit the new goals.

In Europe, the brand still has modest traction: combined deliveries across the EU, the UK, and EFTA were about 11,000 vehicles over nine months, well behind MG and BYD. To build momentum in the region, Geely will lean on the Geely, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr marques, with an emphasis on partially electrified models. If required, the company could tap Volvo’s European manufacturing sites or work with Renault—an avenue that would help streamline scaling and reduce friction on the way to higher volumes.
