Opel's full electric lineup now includes vehicle-to-load technology
Opel's entire electric car range now features V2L, allowing the battery to power devices with up to 3.6 kW, including models like Astra Electric and Mokka Electric.
Opel has rolled out Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology across its entire lineup of electric passenger cars. This feature allows the car's battery to power external devices with up to 3.6 kW via a special adapter.
The system is now standard for models including the Astra Electric, Astra Sports Tourer Electric, Grandland Electric, Mokka Electric, Corsa Electric, and Combo Electric. As a result, Opel's urban electric vehicles can serve as an energy source for household appliances or power tools.
Some models, such as the Astra Electric and Grandland Electric, come with an 11 kW three-phase onboard charger that supports bidirectional charging. For the Mokka Electric and base Corsa Electric, a 7.4 kW single-phase device is standard, with a more powerful option available as an upgrade.

The updated Astra Electric features a 58 kWh battery with 55 kWh of usable capacity, boosting its WLTP range to 454 km—an increase of 35 km over the previous model.
In Germany, Opel also offers an Electric All In package for private buyers. This bundle includes a home charging station, route planning features, mobile charging capabilities, and an eight-year battery warranty.
