New Ford F-250 Super Duty High Output: 500 hp diesel, 1,626 Nm and 0-100 km/h in 5.5s, with a 36,000-PSI fuel system, steel manifolds and a water-cooled turbo.

Ford’s new F-250 Super Duty proves that even a diesel pickup can edge into supercar territory. In High Output guise, its 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 delivers 500 hp and 1,626 Nm of torque, launching to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds—the same result as the Honda NSX. Numbers like these don’t just look good on paper; they reset expectations for heavy-duty diesels.

For comparison, the previous 2020 F-250 did the sprint in 6.1 seconds, while the storied supercharged F-150 Lightning is 0.3 second slower than the newcomer. This step forward comes courtesy of an upgraded 36,000-PSI fuel system, new steel manifolds, and a water-cooled turbocharger. It underlines how targeted hardware changes can deliver outsized gains.

Despite weighing nearly three tons, the F-250 delivers the kind of pace associated with 2026 sports cars while staying a true work pickup. It comes with a 10-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, plus modern connectivity and navigation. That balance of brute force and everyday usability is exactly what makes this spec so compelling.
