Skoda has officially confirmed the name of its new flagship electric car. The fully electric seven-seater will be called Peaq and will sit at the top of the Czech brand’s lineup. Its world premiere is planned for the summer of 2026.

Peaq will be the production follow-up to the Vision 7S concept shown in spring 2022. That show car marked the debut of Skoda’s Modern Solid design direction, centered on functionality, sustainability, and contemporary technology. The new flagship is set to carry those core ideas from concept to showroom, a logical handover for a model with big ambitions.

According to Skoda, Peaq was developed with a focus on the brand’s signature values—space, practicality, and comfort. The seven-seat cabin targets families as well as drivers who mix daily commutes with active leisure and travel. The model is promised to feature Simply Clever solutions to make everyday use easier. This emphasis plays to Skoda’s strengths, leaning on thoughtful packaging rather than theatrics.

Technical specifications, range figures, and powertrain details have not been disclosed. What is clear is that Peaq will be fully electric and represents a key step in expanding the brand’s EV lineup. The message is straightforward: a large, usable electric flagship without unnecessary complexity.

With Peaq, Skoda aims to reinforce its position in the family segment by offering a spacious, practical electric flagship tailored to today’s market. Given the brief, the direction looks well judged and firmly aligned with what Skoda is known for.
