The 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX is back: 777-hp HEMI V8, 0-60 in 3.5s
The 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX returns with a 777-hp supercharged HEMI V8, AWD and Bilstein e2 dampers. 0-60 in 3.5s, Level 2+ assist, Uconnect 5. From $99,995.
Ram is officially bringing back the 1500 SRT TRX, and this is more than a comeback for the likes; it signals that SRT Performance is stirring back to life. For the 2027 model year, it returns with the familiar 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8, now tuned to 777 hp and 922 Nm. According to 32CARS.Ru, the spec sheet reads like a challenge to the segment: 0–97 km/h in 3.5 seconds and a 190 km/h top speed—figures rare for a full-size pickup.
The 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic handles the thrust, while a full-time all-wheel-drive system uses active torque distribution and multiple modes for different surfaces. Launch Control is onboard, and the electronics tie into the updated Atlantis architecture. Ram also emphasizes a dual-path intake: air is drawn from the front and through a hood scoop to feed the 2.4-liter supercharger—an approach engineered to keep working in heat, dust, and water.
The chassis sees serious upgrades as well: second-generation Bilstein Black Hawk e2 dampers and the Ram Active Terrain Dynamics system, with up to 14 inches of rear suspension travel and reinforced components up front. The TRX sits wider and taller than the Rebel, rides on 35-inch tires with 18-inch wheels (including beadlock), and relies on substantial brakes.
Inside, the focus is on rich materials and large displays: Uconnect 5 on a 14.5-inch screen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, a head-up display, dual wireless charging, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
For the first time, the TRX adds a hands-free Level 2+ driver assist on certified stretches of road. Sales are slated for the second half of 2026, with a base price of $99,995. Against the 2025–2026 field, this reads as one of the boldest statements in the class.
