Renault 4 E-Tech Electric Advance van: orders open in Germany

Order the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric Advance in Germany: compact N1 van, 409 km WLTP range, 110 kW motor, 52 kWh battery, DC 100 kW charging, from €31,880

Renault has opened orders in Germany for the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric in Advance trim, a compact electric van. Certified to N1 standards and intended for commercial duty, it targets operators who need a small footprint without giving up utility.

The Renault 4 E-Tech Electric Advance uses a 110 kW electric motor fed by a 52 kWh battery. Driving range is up to 409 km on the WLTP cycle. DC fast charging at up to 100 kW takes the battery from 15 to 80 percent in 30 minutes, while AC charging is handled by an 11 kW bidirectional onboard charger. In day-to-day use, that mix looks well suited to urban routes and depot charging schedules.

The Advance is priced at €26,790 before VAT, or €31,880 including tax. Unlike the passenger version, the van cannot be converted into a passenger car: the rear bench makes way for a molded load platform with tie-downs and a partition. Cargo capacity reaches 1,045 liters, and payload is up to 375 kg. The fixed layout feels purpose-built, the kind of detail fleet managers tend to appreciate.

The model is aimed at farm businesses, urban delivery services, rental operators and corporate fleets. Renault frames it as a small-business tool that blends the footprint of a passenger car with the practicality of a commercial vehicle. Production takes place at the Ampere plant in Maubeuge, with finishing handled by the Qstomize division.
