Brabus unveils the Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV armored G-Class

Explore Brabus' Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV, an armored Mercedes G 500 with Shelter Cell, V8 power and night vision. From €712,810: luxury meets protection.

Brabus has unveiled the new flagship of its armored lineup—the Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV, built on the Mercedes-Benz G 500. This SUV is engineered not just for rough terrain but for survival in extreme scenarios—from protecting high-profile individuals to military operations. As SPEEDME.RU reports, the model joins the Invicto family alongside the Pure and Luxury versions and features the Shelter Cell protection suite.

The exterior combines hot-stamped steel panels with 3D-printed components to form a safety capsule capable of withstanding fire from automatic weapons and low-power blasts. Inside, the cabin keeps a hard-edged brief: four individual seats with multi-point harnesses, an intercom, an emergency hatch, and fire-suppression and air-filtration systems. A night-vision device and powerful LED spotlights round out the equipment.

Under the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 rated at 416 hp, supported by a reinforced chassis and brakes, plus 20-inch wheels with run-flat tires. The SUV weighs nearly four tons, and fuel use reaches 19 liters per 100 km—unsurprising for armored hardware of this caliber.

The Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV is priced at €712,810 (around $830,000). It comes across as more than a vehicle: a rolling fortress where comfort meets maximum protection. Brabus has effectively turned the classic G-Class into a survival tool while preserving the brand’s signature luxury.
