At an international conference, Exeed unveiled its new flagship, the ET8 hybrid SUV, marking the pinnacle of the brand’s push into the premium segment. The model brings together Chery Group’s latest advances in hybrid systems, intelligent assist features and design. Its dimensions impress: a length of 5.2 m and a 3.12 m wheelbase deliver space on par with business sedans.

At its core is a series hybrid layout (REEV): a 156 hp gasoline engine works as a generator, while two electric motors with a combined 469 hp provide propulsion. In electric-only mode, the ET8 can travel more than 200 km, and overall range reaches 1,400 km. Fuel consumption is about 6.1 L/100 km, and fast charging brings the battery from 30 to 80 percent in 14.5 minutes.

The cabin leans into a premium brief: a three-row layout, a 30-inch display, a retractable ceiling screen, and seats with heating, massage and relaxation functions. Materials include Nappa leather, aluminum and Alcantara. The equipment list also features 11 airbags, air suspension, adaptive dampers, intelligent all-wheel drive and seven driving modes.

Taken as a whole, the Exeed ET8 looks less like a routine update and more like a confident bid for leadership in the premium class. The mix of technology, comfort and long-distance capability positions it as a genuine rival to European hybrids—qualities that should resonate with many motorists.
