Voyah Passion L unveiled in China: flagship hybrid sedan with 800‑V platform, 328 km EV range and Huawei-assisted driving
Voyah unveils the Passion L in China: a flagship hybrid sedan with two e-motors, 800‑V architecture, 328 km EV range, rear steering and Huawei smart driving.
On December 10, 2025, in China, Voyah unveiled the Passion L, a new flagship hybrid sedan that feels less like a facelift and more like a step up in stature. The newcomer has grown to 5125×1985×1522 mm, adding length, width, and height over the standard Passion; with the larger footprint come a sharper design and a richer tech package, reports 32CARS.RU.
The look banks on instant recognition: a grille with vertical slats nods to the brand’s signature, the profile is cleaned up by flush door handles, and 20‑inch wheels with a galvanic finish reinforce the premium vibe. Inside, the emphasis shifts to quiet luxury and ergonomics. Natural materials and a simpler dash with two displays come across as a deliberate move away from visual overload, returning a sense of command to the driver rather than the feel of a rolling showroom.
Technically, the Passion L stands out for its architecture and powertrain. It combines two electric motors rated at 204 and 313 hp with a 1.5‑liter turbocharged gasoline unit at 150 hp, and the platform is built for an 800‑volt system. The claimed pure‑electric range is up to 328 km (WLTP), which, for a flagship hybrid, reads as a clear hint at day‑to‑day driving without visiting a gas station. Agility is aided by rear‑wheel steering, while its digital ambitions are backed by an intelligent driving suite co‑developed with Huawei: dozens of sensors and a lidar above the windshield are geared for advanced work on high‑speed roads.
For now, the Passion L will be sold only in China. Russian buyers are set to keep the current Passion EVR, assembled in the Lipetsk region.
