Tesla is rolling out a feature called Charging Passport in its app, turning the charging routine into something more engaging. It’s not part of the holiday update, but arrives alongside it and gives owners another way to keep tabs on their trips.

Charging Passport compiles a yearly charging recap: how many Superchargers you’ve visited, the total number of sessions, miles added, your busiest day, and the longest journey. There are also badges for checking in at standout spots such as Tesla Diner or the Oasis Supercharger.

Developers liken the format to a Spotify Wrapped–style year-end summary. It doesn’t change how the car operates, but it does put travel and charging statistics into a vivid, easy-to-digest view—exactly the sort of light gamification that helps drivers see patterns they might otherwise miss.

As the fast-charging network expands and new themed sites appear—among them a UFO-inspired project in New Mexico—tools like this naturally gain appeal. They make it simpler to gauge routes and expenses, especially when the cost of charging a Tesla becomes a key factor for planning long-distance drives. Anything that sharpens that picture tends to make road trips smoother and decisions more confident.
