Auto Bild puts Tesla FSD Supervised through its paces in Berlin

Auto Bild tests Tesla’s FSD Supervised in Berlin ahead of a European launch. The Model 3 handled city driving up to 140 km/h, with just one human correction.

Tesla staged a demonstration of its FSD Supervised in Berlin, paving the way for a European debut once regulators give the green light. Auto Bild put the software through its paces in a Model 3 on city streets. The car managed acceleration, braking, and steering at speeds up to 140 km/h, picked out construction zones, eased off in advance of pedestrians, and courteously gave way on tight stretches of road.

Over the entire drive, only one human correction was needed, when the system misread altered lane markings. Tesla said incidents like this are folded back into training to refine behavior. The Auto Bild reporter noted that the system’s view of the surroundings felt broader than a person’s and that, unlike a human, it doesn’t tire or get distracted. Out on the road, that calm consistency matters most, and the tech already gives the impression of being useful in everyday traffic rather than just impressive in demos.
