Skoda Kodiaq Select PHEV for Australia: specs, range, price
Discover the Skoda Kodiaq Select PHEV for Australia: up to 112 km electric range, 11 kW AC/50 kW DC charging, rich features, and pricing from 63,490 AUD.
Skoda continues to electrify its Australian lineup and has added the Select PHEV plug-in hybrid to the Kodiaq family. It slots between the Sportline and the flagship Kodiaq RS and is pitched as a more comfort-oriented alternative to the sportier trims.
The five-seat Kodiaq Select PHEV leans on practicality, with a claimed 745 liters of cargo space. The powertrain pairs a 1.5-liter TSI with an 85 kW electric motor (330 Nm). Combined output is 150 kW (201 hp) and 350 Nm, and 0–100 km/h takes 8.4 seconds. The standout figure is an electric-only range of up to 112 km on the WLTP cycle — convincing for a large crossover.
Charging is possible from both AC and DC sources: up to 11 kW AC and up to 50 kW DC. The Select adds 19-inch wheels, keyless entry, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, three-zone climate control, a 13-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, two 15 W wireless chargers, ventilation, and five USB-C ports. The assistance suite includes adaptive cruise with Travel Assist and Traffic Jam Assist, lane keeping, a blind-spot monitor, traffic sign recognition, and nine airbags. The spec reads more family-minded than flashy, which suits its brief.
Skoda has announced Australian pricing for the 2026 Kodiaq range: the base Select at 54,990 AUD, the Sportline at 58,990 AUD, the new Select PHEV at 63,490 AUD, and the Kodiaq RS at 69,990 AUD.
