Porsche Cayenne Electric and Turbo open for preorder in Brazil
Porsche opens Brazil preorders for the Cayenne Electric and Turbo Electric: from R$900k, 108-kWh battery, 800-V fast charging to 400 kW, up to 642 km WLTP.
Porsche has taken an unusual step: the new Cayenne EV hasn’t properly landed in European markets yet, but preorders are already open in Brazil. The Porsche Brasil configurator lists two versions—Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. The base car starts at R$ 900,000 (around €145,000), while the Turbo is R$ 1,410,000 (nearly €228,000). And those figures are for the entry specifications, without the usual spendy extras.
Under the skin, both models are centered on a 108-kWh battery and an 800-volt architecture aimed squarely at shortening charging stops. The company quotes charging power of up to 390–400 kW and a 10–80% top-up in under 16 minutes at a suitable charging station. WLTP figures look ambitious too: up to 642 km for the Cayenne Electric and up to 623 km for the Turbo.
The Turbo’s bet is on sheer pace. According to 32CARS.RU, it produces 630 kW (857 hp) in normal mode and up to 850 kW (1,156 hp) with Launch Control, good for a 0–100 km/h sprint of about 2.5 seconds. The standard model is noticeably calmer, yet it stays convincingly quick for a large SUV—very much in Porsche’s spirit.
