Citroen e-C3 Aircross drops Comfort Range, keeps 54‑kWh Extended Range
Citroen drops the e-C3 Aircross Comfort Range, offering only the 54‑kWh Extended Range with about 400 km WLTP. Spain and France; price around €26,000.
Citroen has overhauled the e-C3 Aircross lineup, dropping the entry-level Comfort Range. The model is now offered solely as the Extended Range, fitted with a 54‑kWh battery that delivers around 400 km on the WLTP cycle.
The discontinued Comfort Range used a 44‑kWh pack rated at 307 km. Both versions shared a 113‑hp motor, 100‑kW peak charging, and the same run to 100 km/h. The Extended Range already appears in the online configurator, but pricing has not yet been announced.
For now, the decision applies in Spain and France. Analysts argue that a shorter-range specification sits awkwardly with a 4.40‑meter family crossover; consolidating around the longer-range setup better matches expectations in this class. Another likely factor is strong demand for the e‑C3, which uses the same 44‑kWh battery, prompting the brand to rebalance supply.
The Extended Range is expected to be priced at about €26,000 before incentives, positioning it as a competitive pick among urban EVs and compact family SUVs. If that estimate holds, the package looks well judged for everyday use.
