Smart #1, #3 and #5: Black Collection Trim Arrives in Spain — Style Only, No More Power

Smart has opened orders in Spain for the Pro+ Black Collection across the #1, #3 and #5 electric SUVs, priced from €45,150. The package is purely cosmetic.

Smart has opened orders in Spain for the Pro+ Black Collection across all three of its electric crossovers — the #1, #3 and #5. Prices start at €45,150. The package brings no technical upgrades: the extra cost covers exterior trim, wheels and new interior finishes.

According to Spanish outlet Motor.es, the Smart #1 Black Collection costs €45,150, the Smart #3 €47,360, and the Smart #5 €54,110.

For the Smart #1, the surcharge over the standard Pro+ trim is €600. It brings 18-inch Amp wheels, plus a black grille, diffuser, side skirts, roof rails and window line. The #3 gets 19-inch Flux wheels, while the #5 gets 19-inch Orbit wheels. Tinted rear windows and three interior colour schemes are also included.

Powertrains stay unchanged. The #1 and #3 use a rear motor rated at 272 hp paired with a 66 kWh NMC battery, giving a WLTP range of 420 km and 435 km respectively. The price gap between them is €2,210, even though the #3 only adds 15 km of extra range.

The #5 costs €6,750 more than the #3. Here the step up is more than cosmetic: output rises to 363 hp, the battery grows to 100 kWh, and range extends to 590 km. Smart’s official Spanish site labels these trims Pro+ Black Pack and confirms the stated WLTP figures.

The European Smart #1 keeps its 400-volt architecture, needing around 30 minutes to charge from 10 to 80%.

The Black Collection is essentially a styling exercise. Given Smart’s past struggles selling the larger #3 and #5, a unified black-accent look could help energise the lineup — but buyers get no extra power or range for their money.
