AEV FX370: a cheaper off-road package for the Ford Super Duty, built around 37-inch tires

AEV's FX370 package brings 37-inch BFGoodrich tires, Bilstein shocks and steel bumpers to the Ford Super Duty for $19,999, arriving this October.

The AEV FX370 package costs $19,999, on top of the price of the Ford Super Duty itself. The main difference from AEV's more extreme FXL build is the 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires, about 940 mm in diameter, instead of the FXL's 40-inch, 1016 mm tires. Production is set to begin in October 2026.

FX370 includes AEV's signature DualSport suspension with roughly 102 mm of lift, Bilstein shocks, a stamped steel front bumper with a winch mount, and a rear bumper with an improved departure angle. The package also adds 18-inch AEV Salta wheels, exterior graphics, and AEV-embroidered headrests.

Fitting the 37-inch tires didn't require the HighMark fender flares or the extensive body-panel cutting used on the FXL — those aren't part of FX370. That's a meaningful difference: the less cutting done to the fenders and wheel arches, the easier it is to repair the body later or return the truck to a less extreme setup. AEV hasn't published a full options list yet.

The cheapest 2026 Ford F-250 XL starts at $45,975 in the US. Add the FX370 package and you get $65,974 before delivery, taxes, registration and any required options. That's not a final minimum price, though — AEV still hasn't disclosed which cabs, wheelbases and trims the package will fit.

FX370 undercuts the FXL package by $6,000, and the trade-off is a 76 mm smaller tire diameter. For a daily driver, that can actually be a plus: lighter wheels usually put less strain on the brakes, steering components and wheel bearings, and climbing into the cab stays a bit easier. Even 37-inch tires, though, noticeably change acceleration, braking and fuel economy compared with a stock Super Duty.

Before ordering, it's worth finding out whether the factory driver-assist settings carry over, whether the speedometer reading gets recalibrated, and how much margin the tires have when the truck is fully loaded or towing a trailer. The Ford Super Duty can carry up to 3,629 kg and tow up to 18,144 kg in certain configurations, so tire diameter alone shouldn't be the only thing that decides your choice of off-road rubber.
