Aston Martin Vanquish 25: a 50-car tribute to 25 years of the V12 flagship

Aston Martin unveils the Vanquish 25, a 50-unit Q-crafted edition marking 25 years of the nameplate, with the same 835PS V12 as the standard car.

The Aston Martin Vanquish 25 isn't a more powerful version of the standard car — it's a rare factory edition rather than a new technical variant. Production is capped at 50 cars: 25 Coupes and 25 Volante convertibles, each crafted by the Q by Aston Martin division.

The anniversary series marks 25 years since the Vanquish name first appeared on a production model in 2001. Cars are finished in an exclusive silver shade, Q Skye Silver, echoing the original first-generation launch car. The package adds metal foil detailing on the grille, side sills and rear, commemorative badging, and unique 21-inch forged alloy wheels.

The cabin is trimmed in semi-aniline leather and Alcantara. A diamond-quilted stitching pattern nods to the original Vanquish, the headrests gain “25” embroidery, and the silver start/stop button gets a red centre. Buyers can choose a two-seat layout or a 2+2 configuration.

Under the bonnet, the car keeps the familiar 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, producing 835PS and 1000Nm of torque. Power goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The standard Vanquish tops out at around 345km/h, and Aston Martin limits annual output to fewer than 1,000 units.

The Vanquish 25 will make its public debut at Monterey Car Week in California, running 10-16 August 2026. First deliveries are planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. Pricing for the anniversary edition hasn't been announced.

The practical case for the premium lies in provenance, chassis number and the condition of the unique trim pieces, not in improved performance. According to 32CARS.RU, buyers considering a used example should check the spec against Q's factory documentation — a resprayed body, swapped wheels or missing interior pieces can dent the car's collector appeal.

Shoppers should also confirm warranty terms, V12 servicing availability and insurance before buying, since the standard mechanical components match the regular Vanquish, but the bespoke body and interior pieces made specifically for this run will likely need to be ordered individually.
