Aston Martin Dreadnought: a V12 tactical SUV built for Call of Duty, not the road
Aston Martin and Call of Duty unveil the Dreadnought, a V12 tactical SUV built only for Modern Warfare 4 — no real version is planned.
Aston Martin has revealed the Dreadnought — a tactical all-wheel-drive SUV built with Activision and Infinity Ward for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Despite the brand’s badge and a claimed V12 engine, this isn’t an upcoming production model or a militarized DBX: the vehicle was designed first and foremost for the virtual world.
The developers haven’t disclosed power output, torque, dimensions or performance figures. The phrase “supercar-level performance” remains part of the in-game concept’s description, so it shouldn’t be taken as a spec for any real Aston Martin. What’s confirmed is all-wheel drive, a V12, stealth-optimized aerodynamics and integrated tactical interfaces.
The in-game spec includes military-grade armor. It’s paired with materials familiar from luxury cars: Oxford Tan leather and herringbone-pattern carbon fiber. The Dreadnought is meant for pursuits, extractions and pushing through hostile terrain in DMZ and Warzone. Naturally, there are no real crash tests, certification or proven ballistic protection behind the project.
A full-size showcase model was built in New York for the Fanatics Fest festival. It’s an exhibition interpretation of the virtual car, not a drivable pre-production prototype. Aston Martin has announced no plans to build a road-going Dreadnought.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is set to launch on October 23, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. For Aston Martin, the project isn’t about engineering — it’s about reaching a younger audience: instead of another special-edition real car, the brand gets a digital showcase.
